FBI Launches ‘Virtual Asset Exploitation Unit’ With Specialized Team of Crypto Experts

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has launched a brand new crypto unit. According to an announcement by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ):
The FBI’s new Virtual Asset Exploitation Unit [is] a specialised workforce of cryptocurrency specialists devoted to offering evaluation, assist, and coaching throughout the FBI, in addition to innovating its cryptocurrency instruments to remain forward of future threats.
